Hello fellow crafters!

Thanksgiving is over and I'm thinking of goals for 2023. One of my loves, other than papercraft, is reading and I set a reading goal every year. 2022 had a goal of 40 books. Mission accomplished! I'm planning on a reading goal of 45 books for 2023. This inspiration hop came right on time! Ladybugs are one of my favorite critters.

The Pieces to Assemble:

• Cardstock - Evening Evergreen cut 2 1/2" X 6" and Daffodil Delight 2 1/2"X 6"
• Punch - Ladybug Builder Cut 1 Evening Evergreen Body and Daffodil Delight body. Cut 1 Daffodil Delight wings and 1 White wings
• Stamps - Hello Ladybug
• Ink - Memento - Tuxedo Black
• Embellishments - 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twin

Hello Fellow Crafters!

Fall as finally arrived in North Texas and we had a freeze. No more garden. How sad. The freeze has put me in the mood for Christmas cards and this is perfect weather to make cards. 

The Pieces to Assemble:

• Cardstock - Evening Evergreen cut 11" X 4 1/4", scored at 5 1/2"
• DSP - Boughs of Holly cut 3 1/2" X 4 1/2" and 1' x 4 1/2" 
• Dies - Stylish Shapes 1 3/4" circle using Basic White cardstock
• Stamps - Framed & Festive
• Ink - Evening Evergreen 
• Embellishments - Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots.

The card design is the following sketch. I see this becoming a favorite.

Put the kettle on. Make some herbal tea!

 Good Morning!!

Last night we moved back to Standard time. I'll be discombobulated for the next week or so. With my extra hour I decided to make the following card. The layout comes from my mentor. It's called Five cards, One layout.

This card is so easy to do. First the pieces to cut. 

1. Cardstock is 8 1/2 by 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.

2. White cardstock cut 2 1/2 by 3 3/4.

3. DSP cut 1 by 3 3/4. Cut 2 pieces please.

4. White liner cut 5 1/4 by 4.

The cardstock I used is Cherry Cobbler. The DSP is Fitting Florets that released November 1st. Very pretty paper. The sentiment is "Framed & Festive' cling stamp set. The embellishments are gold adhesive-backed swirls.

As I mentioned the card is very easy to assemble. Doesn't take too awfully long to make. A great way to let friends and family know you are thinking of them.
