#DOswts401 Simmer/Sparkle Inspiration Hop

Hello!

2022 is almost finished. I dont know about you, but it was an eventful year for me. Let's hope that 2023 is as peaceful as a rabbit. Wait! 2023 is the Chinese year of the rabbit. Imagine that.

For this inspiration I did get a bit of sparkle in. It is that Inspiration hop. Let's get started...

The last Christmas card for 2022

 Hello Crafters!

As 2022 comes to a close, this is my last Christmas card. You will still have time to make and post to loved ones. Let's get started...

The pieces to assemble...

    Cardstock - Evening Evergreen - cut 8 1/2" X 5 1/2"
                        Scored at 4 1/4"
    DSP - Boughs of Holly - cut 5 1/4" X 4"
    Dies - Framed Florets
    Stamps - Framed & Festive
    Ink - Evening Evergreen
    Embellishments - Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls

If you use directional paper as I have, it is important to cut the right direction.
When cutting with dies, I used two, the big filigree die in Evening Evergreen and the small oval in White. I used both parts the of large oval and only the center of the small one.
After stamping the sentiment on the white oval, I centered on the green using dimensionals.

Have a Merry Christmas!

Just one more Christmas card

 Hello Crafters!

Are you tired of getting Christmas cards? Never! Nor of making them. So, here's another to add to your repertoire.

The pieces to assemble:

        Cardstock - Cherry Cobbler - cut 8 1/2"X 5 1/2",
                            scored at 4 1/4"
        DSP - Boughs of Holly - 3" X 3 3/4"cut in half on bias
        White cardstock - 2 1/2" X 4"
Stamps - Framed & Festive and Framed Florets
Ink - Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake
        Embellishments - Heart Pearls

When you cut the DSP on the bias, it makes right triangles. I flipped one over to give contrast. When attached to card base, I left the top open to make a pocket to insert the sentiment.
The sentiment, flowers in Crumb Cake, I stamped off once to make the image lighter. Then stamped the message in Cherry Cobbler on top.

Give this one a try, Crafters!
