#DOswts423 Holiday Treat Package Inspiration Hop

 

Hello Crafters!

Can we start on Christmas too early? I think not! This treat package was inspired by Karen Bouchikas. Nothing says Christmas more than candy canes!

The recipe is so easy:

6"X6" DSP - punch or die cut a finger opening at top center. Score at 1/4" on either side of opening. Score 1/4 " along bottom of DSP. Burnish all scored lines. 

On bottom of paper score line, cut along vertical score lines up to the horizontal score. Cut away along the horizontal line on both sides. Cut a diagonal on 2 vertical cuts to make a tab on the bottom of DSP.

Glue or adhere the two sides together. Glue the tab up to the sides. 

Tie ribbon around. Add some embellishments. Insert candy canes.

I used Walk in the Forest DSP and woven Ribbon. This is a great project. Thanks Karen!

Is autumn really here? The beginning of the week we had record tying or breaking temperatures again.

I still have hope that autumn will get here before Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, here is my interpretations of today's sketch.

Here is the layout:

Now the recipe:

Garden Green card stock - cut 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" - scored at 4 1/4"

Walk in the Forest DSP - cut 3 3/4" X 5 1/4"

Scrape white card stock for circle and sentiment.

Stamps - Rustic Crate

Stamping Blends - for coloring image

Embellishments - Snowflake assortment
